It’s definitely a better Bollywood movie, it’s funny and has charm to it. It also has a great story and solid message about chasing your dreams but where it really lacks is it’s inability to take itself seriously ever. This is especially prevalent in many scenes that should’ve been somber and sad but they made kind of goofy. I also thought the professor was over acting and unrealistically written. It also has some musical sequences which are always weird and unnecessary like the shower sequence. It’s pretty good but flawed overall. I could watch again but probably not.
