I have very mixed feelings about Chennai Express. On one hand, it's visually stunning and has a mostly great soundtrack; on the other hand, I hate how Tamil people are portrayed here. It's something I've been noticing in Bollywood for quite a while, that typically South Indian characters are based a lot on stereotypes, and in the case of this film, I couldn't look past them enough to really enjoy what was going on. Aside from that, the comedy gives me second-hand embarrassment, and the plot is really mediocre at best. I like Shahrukh Khan and Deepika's films, but this one just isn't for me.
