Raw, unfiltered fucking chaos
We follow Frank, a small-time drug dealer who scrambles to survive after a botched drug-deal leaves him owing money to his boss and his desperateness to get the money grows with every minute. It’s a fucking chaotic film about treason, loyalty, and the ugly hunger for survival that strips every bit of humanity away. By the end, you don’t watch Frank fall, you feel it, like you’re sinking with him right through that neon-soaked hell of Copenhagen’s underworld. Brilliant film, with such real and beautiful performances from a stacked cast. It’s altogether a fucking brilliant, exceptional and baffling directorial debut from Nicolas Refn, I’m looking forward to see PUSHER II soon. 💊
