Ridley Scott mythicizes Robin Hood as a figure of freedom and rebellion against the unjust more than he already was, but everything feels kinda messy and confusional and it could've been more straightforward and shorter. Russell Crowe was chosen only because he worked with Scott in Gladiator, and I'll die on that hill. On a positive note the score was good and so was the cinematography, and the final scene is really noteworthy. The acting is pretty good as well, even though some actors feel wasted
