Dead Reckoning is what noir is supposed to be. The femme fatales, the dark and shadowy cinematics, our Protagonist narrating and the build-up to our twist.
The problem is that it does all those things so the movie feels a bit samey while being entertaining a convoluted plot really keeps you guessing, but this isn't something that is really going to stand out bogart is good in this, but not anything compared to his performances in Key Largo or The African Queen. Lizabeth Scott is amazing in this and steals the show in my opinion good decent noir film with all the tropes we come to love
