This was my first introduction to wrestling - my dad told me watch it because David Arquette was in it and it led me down a rabbit hole of WCW vs WWE My only complaint is that they made Rose McGowan Gordies love interest when they played siblings in scream lol

David Arquette is almost too good at being an insufferable WWE fan

The movie on paper is objectively bad. But growing up watching wrestling and this movie on repeat I find it to be amazing. It’s the only movie that has a wrestling type of storyline for a plot making it feel different. And it is to nostalgic and memorable for me, that is why it’s rated so highly.
