Aww grandpa why so sad?

the music calmed me down!!! And the sense of beauty in every frame, divine! But as a person who found solace in a quiet lonely life, it doesn't bring me to tears, but that's only a me thing :)

beautiful!

Would I recommend? I think yes, it would calm you down

A very lovely and influential short film talking about memory and the peaks of human life, also the music serves that intimate atmosphere.

It’s really touching, I advise all of you to watch it

La Maison en Petits Cubes
La Maison en Petits Cubes is quiet in a way that somehow says more than a lot of full length movies ever do.

Even though it is such a short film, it still managed to make me tear up. There is barely any dialogue, yet it feels incredibly emotional because of how simple and human everything is.

The way I understood it is that no matter how much someone focuses on surviving the present or preparing for the future, the past never fully disappears. The memories are still there underneath everything, especially the love that once filled those moments.

Every layer of the house felt like revisiting pieces of a life that can no longer be lived the same way again. Not necessarily in a tragic sense, but in a deeply nostalgic one. It captures that feeling of looking back and realizing how much time has passed without you noticing.

What made it hit harder is how gentle the film is about it. It does not scream its message at you. It just quietly lets you sit with it.

A small but deeply touching film about memory, love, and the way the past continues to live inside people long after moments are gone.

La Maison en Petits Cubes
quite a unique artsyle and the story is interesting. The whole point behind it is pretty simple, yet beautiful and sad. I don't really understand how is it possible for the water to raise so much though, but this is beautiful
