this was so much fun!!

i'll come right out and say that i watched this movie for mary tyler moore's boobs and it delivered on that front. she was a joy in this, as was george segal as her husband. lily tomlin and alan alda!!! wonderful!!! lily's character reminded me a little bit of my grandmother so that's a plus. richard jenkins is a lil cutie. mel and nancy are the least interesting characters despite being the leads, but this film is full of eccentrics that make it an enjoyable time, and they have their moments regardless.
