What an incredible production. I was stunlocked by the puppets on a river, it looks so good.  Strays away from sanitized kid content with some melancholy themes even though the overall message is dollar store positivity.

Very funny to watch this in 2025 and see the “Hendrix-style” music they use to represent the grimy, evil villains. I wonder what they would use today that can be both villainous but safe enough for a Christmas tv special.
