In the inevitable modern day remake - make the terrible director role about Jacques Audiard. I will not stop slandering this man.
Quirky, charming, and cute. A Little Romance is very much Richard Linklater coded with the shots that follow the two main characters as they walk through Europe. The best moments in this film are when Lauren and Daniel are discussing young love. The camera work was also lovely -- really capturing the elegant cities. Only issue that weighed this film down for me was my dislike for Daniel. To be honest, I couldn't really stand him.
