Really bored me, it felt like it was really dragging on towards the end but the shots of the palm trees were nice so it’s not all bad.

fun, strange movie. lost me towards the end a bit but i liked it. this combined with less than zero makes me feel like if my parents had stayed in la instead of moving me back to england i would’ve been just a weird, horrible, miserable person. but i’m sure it’s nice there

I really enjoyed this often overlooked film in Steve Martin's catalogue. L.A. Story is a very funny, satirical rom-com with a great script and some really cool and unique fantasy elements that make it stand out from other 90's rom-coms. There are some weirdly beautiful scenes with some brilliant editing in here, mostly the stuff with the signpost. I don't have too much to say about this, but to anyone reading this, I'd highly recommend giving this a watch, it's lots of fun, and the sort of fantasy parts are awesome.
