The most aggressive and one of the most moving pieces of animation that I’ve ever seen, holy fucking shit dude. Hiroshi Harada is incredible, fucking incredible director. This is severely underrated and I highly recommend watching it, it’s extremely visceral, violent, and aggressive, but that’s the point.

I was so locked in with studying that I nearly forgot to watch a horror film today. What better opportunity than now to go deeper into the Hiroshi Harada-verse. Midori grows in my mind each day, its extremely surreal visual style keeps calling to me. Images and scenes linger in my mind. And all that is clear here too. There’s something really unique about Hiroshi Harada’s approach to telling stories. The imagery here is incredible.
