Dare I say, it's both beautiful and a bit challenging to sit through. The cinematography is very strong... and gorgeous! It moves through the orphanage with much care and slowly shifting as the story grows heavier. Virginie Ledoyen delivered (literally) + Lou Doillon's layer of unease that works well. The pacing sure is slow and may test your patience, but it helps the suspense build in a way that lands effectively in the later part. Also, the ending is strange and open, which can either stay in your head or leave you confused, depending on how much you connect with it.
