I didn't remember much from my first watch of Orphan, so even though I knew the plot twist a lot of it was still fairly fresh. Isabelle Fuhrman gave a stand-out performance here, but I also really liked Vera Farmiga's acting. I have to say, most of the characters were extremely annoying, like John and Daniel, to the point where it genuinely felt like pure ragebaiting. Some pretty good use of horror elements and build-up of tension, and on the whole it's a solid film for Spooktober.
