I thought this was really sweet. it really was a coming of age story for the rest of us. we don’t all go through the same process growing up and that’s a good thing. i loved Lake’s jealousy… really helped drive in that he was still a kid who was learning to be an adult. also he kinda kidnapped melvin there. “THAT, is a real saint.” 

love that all the bad reviews for this are all like OMG THIS IS SICK AMD TWISTED MY POOR DELICATE SENSIBILITIES ARE RUINED

This got really uncomfortable really fast, but that's why I liked it. I want movies to make me feel uncomfortable. Gerontophilia is controversial, but also sweet at the same time. I'm glad I finally got around to watching it.
