there’s a stock streetcar sound effect used in the background of this film a couple times near the start that i’m almost 100% sure scorsese also uses throughout ‘mean streets’, as soon as i heard it it activated the sleeper agent in my brain. anyway that ending was so good.

Nice to see how the heist members slowly piece together the reasons as to why they are here and who they are. Not a big fan of the 3rd act of this though. I'll probably take a rewatch
