I’ve watched this movie three times, and honestly, I never get tired of it. At first, it seems commun, but the performances from Keanu Reeves, Crispin Glover, Daniel Roebuck, and Dennis Hopper (that I already deeply appreciated for his role in Blue Velvet) make it incredibly gripping and enjoyable to watch.
Knowing that it’s based on the murder of Marcy Renee Conrad on November 3, 1981 in California makes it hit even harder emotionally.
Daniel Roebuck perfectly play the killer, with clearly visible and uncontrollable mental issues. I would highly recommend this movie to everyone, but I also want to take a moment for an advice: be careful with the partners you choose, go away at the first red flags. You never truly know someone, and everything can turn into tragedy in the blink of an eye.
