Middle of the road movie. It’s got its good and it’s got its bad. I thought the sequence when the kids were running and the ending was by far the best. The majority of the rest of the movie is pretty forgettable. There’s just a lot of him and his sister running too and from school, not much else after that. There wasn’t really any substantial material in the middle of this movie, it’s just there. I also felt that the acting was a bit subpar, I get that the are only kids but still, I have to criticize flaws where I see them. This movie just kind of exists in the middle ground, there’s nothing bad about it really but nothing special. It’s just there. It’ll be a probably not on a rewatch for me.
