Loved the movie as a kid!

Haven’t seen this for many years… still enjoyed it today!
This movie isn’t perfect, but has some interesting ideas, interesting diversions from the book/og movie. Some changes work, some don’t. But overall a very fun sci fi movie!

The visual effects in this movie are good, love the practical effects and the cgi blends pretty well.

I enjoyed the first half of the movie more, especially when he was trying to undo a tragic event from his past. However, the second half takes a completely different direction and turns into an apocalyptic survival story, which feels like a different movie compared to the beginning.
