A large family gathers in the country side for their very elderly grannies' birthday. One gift happens to be from their ostracized, black sheep nephew, and upon opening it, the two loveable grannies turn into rabid, flesh-eating monsters.

This is officially movie number 1,000 on my Letterboxd, and to celebrate that with a little something silly with SUPER-HORROR-RAMA is truly all I could ask for. 500 films ago, I went for Whiplash as my commemorative pick, but going for Rabid Grannies this time around feels far more in character. I'm just a sucker for an obvious ragdoll and feral old ladies in plate armor, what can I say?
