This is the worst Saw movie Iv'e ever seen. There's so many stupid characters that I was so happy when they died, they aggravated me so much. It doesn't defeat the trope of how obnoxiously stupid blondes can be. The dialogue can be so 2000s horror cliche, but I do find it funny how the main character responds to it in the most realistic way. The killer's mask is goofy asf and looks more silly than scary. The cgi can be fucking terrible at times. Otherwise, the gore is really good for the character design of the antagonist. Some of the traps were genuinely creative and oddly satisfying at times. I'm more curious about how the killer is able to plan, design, and set them up. I liked the suspense, it was consistent and engaging. Loved the over-the-top gore, it definitely has atleast some inspiration from Saw. Josh Stewart carried the film, he actually made some smart decisions that I couldn't think of. That cat kill was probably the most brutal death for me, smh. The ending was good, it sets itself up well for a sequel. The spider symbolism in correlation to how the antagonist makes traps for his victims was interesting. The Collector is a gory, stupid, unrealistic, film that'll make people cautious of entering their own home
