There are glimmers of a great movie here but sadly this just fucking sucks. Making Elizabeth Báthory the vampire in this one coulda been cool but for some reason they name her Gerri. There is no returning cast and the few characters that do return have no recollection of the first movie. In my review of the first Fright Night 2 I said it would’ve been cool if the Fright Night sequels were about different classic movie monsters living next door. That would’ve been so much more interesting than just another generic bland vampire movie. You can tell they didn’t have much of a budget for this. They didn’t even keep the cool Las Vegas setting. Fright Night 2: New Blood takes what was a surprisingly solid remake and turns it into just another bottom of the barrel vampire flick. Ended up napping through most of this…

What the fuck was this movie like generally how did this get made first they butcher the characters personalities like Charlie would not have fucking cheated on Amy also is this another remake cause Ed is not a vampire until half way through the movie, this movie just sucks all around which is sad cause Jamie Murray who Plays Gerri is amazing but she couldn't save this movie.
