I chose to watch Cemetery Man on a whim after seeing it has good ratings, but while I appreciate the craft behind it, it's just not my cup of tea. The plot started off interesting enough, but it quickly became very jumbled and odd, the script attempted witty dark humour that fell very flat, and on top of that the pacing went extremely downhill, so the hour and forty minute run-time felt more like five hours instead. As far as acting goes, I didn't think anyone in the cast was particularly good; I love me some 90s Rupert Everett, but even he could only do so much. However, I did really like the costumes and sets, and the special effects on the zombies was excellently done. The soundtrack was also pretty good, and overall the atmosphere was eerie and depressing. With that being said, though, I'm not the target audience for this film, and I don't think I'd be persuaded to watch it again any time soon.
