I enjoyed the ‘getting-the-band-back-together’ hijinks of the first half of this "Spinal Tap"-like mockumentary about a punk rock band that goes back on tour after a long hiatus. I also appreciated some of the stylistic elements - particularly the shots of the road as a massive roll unfolding below them. However, I was not prepared for how dark this film gets in the second half. And that ending fees like it comes out of nowhere and ultimately made me like the film less!
It did also make me want to go back and visit the Canadian Rockies! I took a hiking trip to Banff years ago and have fond memories.
