Revenge
Maybe one day I’ll want to speak on this in depth at all
For now this feels like one I want to let seep into my skin for a bit

Revenge
This film’s meditation on the nature of revenge see it consume a person’s entire life - a person whose sole purpose for existence was to enact the revenge of another person. It’s a tragic and beautiful film, rich with imagery that evokes a sadness throughout rather than an anger throughout. Every act of cruelty is portrayed with immense sorrow, with cinematography that takes advantage of the light and framing of the characters to the utmost degree. This is the brightest and most colourful film on this topic ever, probably

Revenge
Damn, lots of potential for an all timer, just a little too choppy and disjointed to quite get there. Sad for what it could’ve been, because even this product is quite great.

Revenge
One of the most effective uses of light I think I’ve ever seen. Revenge is such a excellent amalgamation of the themes of its namesake. Particularly loved the way Poetry was weaved in as a storytelling method and the extra impact that it had on this film. Just excellent execution all around.
