Probably the most fascinating piece on batman because of how salacious it is. Any story looking into Batman's romance/sex life is immediately interesting because of how personal it is to him. If mask of the phantasm was batman x mystery noir, this is batman x doomed latin romance (hence the end credits song). Also the best animated dcau batman story. Also just a great mystery overall. 4.75 rounded down only because I once read a tweet saying the mystery in a batman movie is always solved by looking at who the newly introduced person is (which still tripped me up. Guess they knew about this trick too before they made this movie).
