"Why can't things be easy, just for once, just for once to be easy and fine and relaxed, just to be lucky, just a bit of fucking luck is all".Set in Dublin, Adam and Paul follows the two drug addicts on their journey to try score some drugs.
The film although extremely funny and captures North Dublin humor flawlessly it is undeniably heartbreaking to watch.
This film has forever changed my ways on looking at people who are addicts, people see them as wasters, no good to society but people always forget there was a reason they ended up this way and that they have a story to tell ,but nobody ever seems to listen as this is one of the key aspects of the film, but although we don't get to see how exactly they ended up this way we get a clear idea on how they didn't through conversations the pair have with each other.
Adam and Paul is fantastic, the acting is really solid and the cinematography is pretty good.
The ending of the film definitely has some shock value to it as it is so unexpected and is bound to leave your eyes ponded.
Fantastic film, would recommend!
