Plastic surgeon Larry Roberts performs a series of minor alterations on a group of models who are seeking perfection. The operations are a resounding success. But when someone starts killing his beautiful patients, Dr. Roberts becomes suspicious and starts investigating. What he uncovers are the mysterious - and perhaps murderous - activities of a high-tech computer company called Digital Matrix.

When a model mispronounces "areola" in the first minute and they manage to say the title of the movie four times in that same breath, I pretty much knew what I was in for.

​It’s got some fun, dated 80s tech-paranoia vibes, but the plot is a total mess. A classic "cool concept, clunky execution" situation that never really finds its footing.

can’t say i had very high expectations for this but while i definitely liked the concept, soundtrack and the aesthetics of the film. the story was very underdeveloped for a very draggy movie…like alot of these minutes in the movie could’ve gone to further developing it rather than those long chasing cat & dog nonsense they had going on for the last 40 minutes of the movie.
