I did really enjoy this, but this is definitely the weakest film in the entire trilogy for me, unfortunately. My reasoning behind this is because what I really loved about Koyaanisqatsi and Powaqqatsi was the time lapse of the mesmerising and stunning cinematography, whereas Naqoyqatsi essentially abandons all of it and instead relies on really outdated CGI, making it look really cheap and amateurish, along with using a load of repetitive archive footage which in my opinion made it really unpleasant and distracting and to top that, it also relied on a lot of overused digital filters rather than relying on mesmerising cinematography like the first two.
However, the score is phenomenal as always, and I also believe that this was a perfect send-off to the trilogy as Koyaanisqatsi focuses on "Life Out of Balance," then Powaqqatsi focuses on "Life in Transformation" and then finally, Naqoyqatsi focuses on "Life as War".
