I thought from the opening fight this was going to be a bit of a parody film and I think it was? It follows the typical conventions of a “fall of the Shaolin temple” type film but there’s a decent bit of humour and absurdity sprinkled throughout. I didn’t mind this film but it was a little odd, I can’t really put my finger on it but I couldn’t quite take it seriously 😆 Maybe I wasn’t meant to, who knows 😅
