Episode 1 - 3.75/5
The episode started super slow just getting you acquainted with all the characters in the hospital.
The head doctor seems like an ass but he’s got some interesting things going on with that weird ass ritual thing
I’m INVESTED in the old lady in the elevator cause that seems insane
That one student pining for the older doctor is kinda interesting but also weird. Intriguing how he’s gonna get away with the taking the head.
And then the people washing the dishes, how do they know what’s going on? I know this is inspired by Twin Peaks so I wonder if they are similar to the lodge entities.
Overall great set up. Excited to see what happens next.

BRO WTH HAPPENED TO BONGO
Overall the plot is starting to pick up. Other characters seem to be noticing the strange things other than just the crazy lady. She’s definitely been the most interesting so far but Stig is starting to hear the bell so I’m curious where that goes.
Currently I think the hotel is frozen in time cause it seems like the girl and the ambulances are from the past.
And maybe I’m tripping but was the little ghost girls dad the same guys that got the one doctor preggers. That would be insane

Von Tier is so good at these suspenseful and anxiety inducing moments. His camerawork along with the sound and editing make for some crazy cool moments.
Stig is definitely gonna get cooked now that the copy of that report is in the other doctor’s hands.
I think it’s so funny that the doctor got a bunch of drunk doctors to give him a transplant of a liver that has a tumour so he can ethically study himself for research.
What a crazy ending with the old lady finding the for internal use page for the ghost girl.
Then the fuck ass outro music is so off putting right after a jumpscare.
One episode left of this season. Excited to see where it goes and if the story continues into season two if that’s a separate story at the hospital.

Having the commissioners walk around the hospital seeing all the fuckass things going on there is absolutely hilarious. I throughly enjoyed that part.
Also I called it that the ghost girls dad, who’s also a ghost got the one doctor pregnant. See her give birth to an adult human head as very disturbing tho I can’t lie.
Why was the portal to just to hole in the wall? Like clearly to worked to get the ghost girls back but how the hell did that let out a trolley full of ghosts.
Overall, I’m definitely enjoying this series and will check as season two soon. I think the overall messaging is very similar to Twin Peaks both in presentation and theming. It seems to be a lot about the evil that men do and the impact that has on everyone’s lives.
