idk this was incredibly meaningful to me. it's so incredibly earnest. romero understands people! he really does! also like half the cast of dawn of the dead is here which really makes it better. my only complaint is this is really long, but man at some point i just did not want to leave the world of knightriders!!! the stunning PA scenery, a knighting by the creek in the early morning fog, and a big raven on a telephone pole. we're in camelot, baby.
highlights:- stephen king as a disbelieving hick. send tweet- johnstown reference (thanks romero again)- "i smell bacon man!!"- billy stopping the oscillating fan with his hand and just shoving it into his face- the incredible cinematography and editing (par for the course)- entire mcdonald's cop beat up scene in which the entire restaurant stands up and claps for a man in armor fucking destroying a corrupt cop (and he throws his gun in a fryer, david lynch plagiarized????)
anyways this is so special to me. average renfaire experience
