One of the best looking of Lang's films from his American period so far, with James Wong Howe providing his usual stellar cinematography that results in plenty of amazing visuals. I appreciate the focus on the community working together to disrupt the Nazis every way they can, leaning heavily on the "no snitching" aspect. Despite all this, I did feel it ran rather long and I wasn't necessarily always engaged with the script, though that may be just because of my mood watching this. It's really wild that Bertolt Brecht was one of the people who worked on this story.
