This movie is so unintentionally funny at times and it’s also shot like a reality TV-show which makes it even better.
Don’t get me wrong though it’s not just goofy it’s actually a quite solid investigation werewolf movie with some intense and brutal action that really kicks off in the third act.
However what really drags it down for me is that they literally put no effort into the werewolf design.
It’s just a tall slightly abnormally hairy guy, that doesn’t look any different from his human self by the way.
Any unique features he has, like his big hands and facial structure, that make him look a little cool in some scenes are just from the actor himself. Fair enough it’s really good casting but don’t just leave it at that.
Truly if this had an actual decent werewolf design it would have been so so much better.
