I wanted to watch a special film for my birthday, and after doing a lot of searching, I thought choosing this one would be the right decision but it wasn’t like I expected at all and it didn’t even make my eyes tear up.. Unfortunately, aside from love, all the themes in the film were handled very well but the love itself felt very lacking and insincere to me unfortunately, after watching The Shop Around The Corner, Waterloo Bridge and Vivacious Lady it becomes very hard to like a romantic film and this is not my fault.. I couldn’t find any chemistry between them, also love isn’t something like that what the man felt was only need, there wasn’t even a spark in his eyes whether that was because he couldn’t fully play it or because the character himself couldn’t really feel it I don’t know but honestly the film was emotionally lacking for me and not satisfying at all.. Also, I think love is never something like this.. I mean, with a single smile, with a single look, love can make you say this person is the one, this is the person I’ve been looking for my whole life.. Because I think love is something spiritual.. That’s why the film shows need–seeking shelter rather than love.. The man was only taking refuge in the woman
Doğum günüm için özel bir film izlemek istemiştim ve yaptığım bir sürü arama sonucunda bu filmi izlemenin doğru karar olacağını düşündüm ama beklediğim gibi asla değildi ve gözlerimi yaşartmadı bile.. Maalesef filmde aşk hariç tüm temalar çok güzel işlenmiş ama aşk çok eksik ve samimiyetsiz geldi bana maalesef, The Shop Around The Corner, Waterloo Bridge ve Vivacious Lady izledikten sonra bir aşk filmi beğenmek çok zor oluyor ve bu benim suçum değil.. Aralarında bir kimyaya rastlayamadım, ayrıca aşk öyle bir şey değil adamın hissettiği sadece ihtiyaçtı, adamın bakışlarında bir parlama bile yoktu ya o tam oynayamadığından ya da karakter tam hissedemediğinden öyleydi bilemedim ama film açıkçası benim için duygusal manada eksikti ve tatmin edici hiç değildi.. Ayrıca bence aşk asla böyle bir şey değil.. Yani tek bir gülümsemeyle, tek bir bakışla bu kişi o kişi, bu kişi hayatım boyunca aradığım kişi dedirtebilir aşk.. Çünkü aşk ruhsal bir şey bence.. O yüzden film aşktan çok ihtiyacı-sığınmayı gösteriyor.. Adam sadece kadına sığınıyordu
