There's the Lang I know! Really entertaining WW2 propaganda thriller (before the USA entered), almost feels like a Hitchcock picture but with Lang's seething hatred of the Nazis on full display. These war pictures definitely feel like the prelude to his more famous noirs. The romance stuff in the middle of the film does slow everything down, but worthwhile in the end. Joan Bennett's cockney accent was certainly a choice though.
