In some way, this movie had me heaving for air. Suzanne’s life spiraling, the chaos of the movie set, let alone dealing with her mother (before the whole accident happened), made me suffocated.

I loved the screenplay and I hope that I can overcome my current reading slump to eventually get around to reading Carrie Fisher's memoirs. I understand this film very deeply and I often find that resonating with the themes of a film is great but to truly see yourself in it's prose is transcendental. Overall, a wonderful watch and my first watch where Shirley MacLaine's in colour.
