is it bad that I kinda teared up a couple times for Camille?

i think, despite a bunch of the things in this movie not making perfect sense, (e.g the cause of the resurrections) the story was good and it was nice to watch Silas start to love and appreciate Camille (even if it took her dying for him to come to this realization.)

i think this movie had the potential to be better than good, and i do like it. it was heartwarming and a bit sad – and we all know those are the key elements of a good romance movie! but there could’ve been more on Camille’s feelings for her failed marriage. gosh, i knew she was gonna ask if he loved her but jeez the answer upset me.

I recently decided to rewatch some James Franco films I used to love. Obviously, 127 Hours doesn’t matter here 😂 You gotta separate the art from the artist.
This was one of my favorites from James back in the day. I think it was because of how different/weird this film was. I appreciate the filmmakers wanting to make a different kind of romance film, but it doesn’t fully pay off. I’ll probably never watch it again.
