I’m really unsure on my feelings about this if I’m being completely honest. I can’t tell if I enjoyed it or not.
It’s got some really interesting choices to it across the board. It’s a really unique but also sometimes grating animation style, accompanied by varying degrees of vocal performances. It’s got a really interesting and existential plot idea that at many parts feels overly complex and confusing for the simple sake of being confusing. Its character and world design is really its biggest champion. Really striking designs, in particular the obvious choice to have certain female characters having their breasts exposed, which doesn’t ever feel like it’s done in a sexual way.
Overall it’s an interesting watch and something that I’m never going to forget.
