Wounded in Africa during World War II, Nazi Col. Claus von Stauffenberg returns to his native Germany and joins the Resistance in a daring plan to create a shadow government and assassinate Adolf Hitler. When events unfold so that he becomes a central player, he finds himself tasked with both leading the coup and personally killing the Führer.

This movie about an army soldier realizing his country's leader is a fascist and bad for his country plays differently today than it did in 2008. Just hope our story has a happier ending than this one did.

I keep wondering what would have happened if the plan had actually succeeded. I felt so bad for everyone who tried to stop Hitler’s regime and risked their lives to do it. And then they failed, knowing they were doomed to die.

Didn't really enjoy this one. Its very confusing and not made well. Very weird how they decided that Germans will speak English, but write in German.
