Besides the overuse of slurs, inappropriate “jokes” (sure, they were normal for the time, but that’s not an excuse), and what I can only assume are stereotypes, I can’t help but feel educated after watching this film.

People be hating on the movie like "She wasn't really a lesbian." Yes the whole point is that she's bisexual. Y'all act like bisexuals NEVER thought they liked a single gender before finding out they liked both.

Anyways 10/10 no notes.

I've always kinda assumed Kevin Smith would not be for me, so I did not expect to like this nearly as much as I did. It definitely has it's issues but overall I think it's a good critique of male insecurity (and stupidity). Very me to say this but I think it's pretty critical that the movie just openly states that Banky is in love with Holden. Biggest downside is that ultimately the central character is the most boring one, and I think the version of this from either Joey Lauren Adams or Jason Lee's perspective works better for me, but overall I'm not mad that Ben Affleck being an idiot is the core of the movie.
