Such an eye-opening movie! I hate how this isn’t presented in mainstream media, which made it so inaccessible that I had a hard time finding it! Jericho is such a great actor, plus I really commend the scriptwriting for this one; it’s so realistic—something you would really hear in household conversations in the Philippines. The only reason I didn’t give it a five-star rating is because I am so unsatisfied with how the story unfolds. I love how they focused on the “search” for his son, however, I think it would be much better if they also showed the internal struggle of the father and dove deeper into how the police operated the case (to showcase how upsetting it is that there is barely any help we get from them). But overall, I really love this film because it’s such a big step in the PH cinema, which doesn’t usually show these kinds of issues. I just hope that they could give more insight into the psychological problem. I think that would significantly make the film much more impactful than it already is.
