This was pretty similar to Here Comes Mr. Jordan, but instead of our main character dying by mistake and being sent to heaven, our main character did not die by mistake and is sent to hell. And instead of being the angel of death, Claude Rains is Satan. I did enjoy it (maybe aided by Here Comes Mr. Jordan being one of my favorite films) but sadly the print quality isn't great and it had awful subtitles which affected by viewing experience. Claude Rains is fantastic as always! Paul Muni's character was a bit disappointing to me, but I feel that it's more due to the writing of his character vs. his acting talents.
