Where to a degree you can extend a certain amount of grace to films like Hero, Birth of a nation, Rocky IV for sheer craft, I draw the line at complete dogshit. I’m not even sure if you can really call this a film, theres no allegory. It doesn’t dramatise, question or mythologise anything, it literally just fucking overtly tells you the ‘right’ way to win a war. Pair that up with by far the flattest, ugliest animation early disney ever put to screen and you’re left with this garbage. You know it’s so over when the company doesn’t even have it on THEIR OWN streaming service.
