i saw a clip on tiktok and watched this expecting to cry, but jesus fucking christ this movie just made me angry. it’s so bad im almost fascinated by it. never before in my life have i left a movie feeling like this. i hated that kid so much from the second i saw him on screen. he is so disrespectful towards every girl he sees and he talks about his best friend’s mom’s boobs IN FRONT OF HIS BEST FRIEND!!!! what the fuck kind of move is that ???? and don’t even mention the batshit insane scene that happens a little over a half hour in. that kid barely has enough strength to hold the bat, let alone hit a baseball so hard it FUCKING KILLS SOMEONE. fuck simon and his perverted tendencies and his strange, preachy ways. maybe it’s just me, but i would NEVER name my kid after the guy who sexually assaulted a classmate and objectified and KILLED my MOM. this movie is so fucking stupid. fuck this. ashley judd deserved better.
