personally i enjoyed this more than the first one. it continues the dark and melancholic theme and has the same atmosphere, but makes it feel more relatable and grounded; since it’s in a small little town. the overall story in this one was definitely better and i really liked the romantic aspect as well as the introduction to shiki’s split personalities. it also answered a little of my questions, and overall i’m excited to see where the story/series ends up going next.

Beautiful music like the first and this one actually made more sense compared to the first entry. Great themes of identity and the human condition and Shiki is such a great character.
