1982 was really the year for Coppola and his great coming of age films. I enjoyed this film a lot, loved the stylistic choice of shooting in black and white and coloring the rumble fish. Gorgeous cinematography all around. Matt Dillon gives a great performance, I’d argue better than his performance in The Outsiders. I just loved Rumble Fish so much.

Can't believe i didn’t find Matt Dillon attractive before.
Rusty’s brother’s voice irritates me so much, I wanted to cut my ears off.
I feel i gave it a low rating because i couldn’t really get into it so maybe i need to rewatch it.
