imagine you are a kid and at the height of your hyperfixation before you know what hyperfixations were and they made a movie about your niche little game that none of your friends had heard of. anyways that was me when this movie came out and honestly it does the games justice idk why literally everyone else hates on this movie. its not a 2 star movie and DEFINITELY not a .5 star movie i mean have you SEEN Zoolander, THAT is a .5 star movie. anyways it’s definitely not incredible or life changing but ik when i was little it sure seemed like it so i’ve gotta give it some love now :)
they stay true to the game’s story(for the most part), animation and voice actors and there’s so many little bits and references thoughout this that let you know that someone somewhere in the making of this movie had a whole lot of love for the games. like the weapons screen and the Zurkons AND THE SHEEP GUN like come on those are such fun little details from the games.
