What I expected from this movie was for it to be colorful and yes the colors really popped off the screen. It gave me a feeling of a time when things were much simpler than they are now. The characters are fun especially Shirley’s character which made me want to check out more of her work. This movie also reminded me of Down with Love.

Shirley MacLaine was offered the role of Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany’s and turned it down. This is one of many of her movies from this era that made me wish that team had tried harder to win her over.
