❝I could strangle that little twerp, by the way - my mechanic, he's actually my brother-in-law Gus - screwed the steering wheel on backwards!❞

Castello Cavalcanti isn't an ad, it's art, featuring Wes Anderson's beautiful signature style and Jason Schwartzman's impeccable line delivery. It's surprisingly thought-provoking; it took me a couple of moments to realise that the driver died in the crash, and chooses to stay with his ancestors in the end instead of moving on. I absolutely love the bright yellow colour palette chosen for the set and costumes, as well as the warm lighting and symmetrical shots. A lovely short film I could spend ages looking at.
